Troop 1539, Orca District, Chief Seattle Council was founded in 1972. We are chartered by Veterans of Foreign Wars, Henry Bryner Post 4992. We are a very active troop of 49 scouts, of which 1 is Eagle Rank, who meet on Mondays at 7:00 PM in the basement of the VFW hall at 9981 Central Valley Road. This site currently hosts 28,295 pictures from our troop's outings, with even more hiqh quality copies on our associated SmugMug site (troop1539.smugmug.com). The average age of our scouts is 13, and they have collectively earned 344 Merit Badges in the past year. We are very big on the outdoor program, having completed 26 camp outs totaling 78 nights of camping in the past year alone! We feel it is important to give back to our community, towards which we have completed 591 hours of service this past year. Our current scoutmaster is (360) 698-7604 and committee chair is (360) 598-0236. We are chartered by VFW post 4992, and the number at the hall is 692-4992.
