The key to boy scouting is the Patrol Method- boys are organized into groups called patrols of 5-7 members that live, eat, and work together during campouts and other scout activities. Troop 1539 currently has 5 active patrols. National Honor Patrol is a BSA award for a patrol that has gone above and beyond in holding separate patrol meetings/service projects. Patrol of the Quarter is a Troop 1539 competition, the winner of which is excused from Service Patrol for the following quarter- view the current standings.
