Troops in Orca District

Webelos transition is the ongoing working relationship of the leaders of a Cub Scout pack and a Boy Scout troop. This site is designed to assist Troops in contacting Packs and vice-versa- adjacent is a map of Kitsap county displaying the locations of all the troops in Orca District, mouse over the marker and wait to see the troop number, click on the troop number in the popup to view their information.

To locate the Troop nearest your home, simply enter your address in the box below. The Scout Shop (where you can get Scouting uniforms, badges and books) is located at '1900 Austin Dr, Bremerton, WA 98312' - by clicking go the map will zoom in to the entered address and display a marker on that point- you may need to zoom the map back out to see which troops are nearest your address.

Proximity to home is only one of many factors you should consider in selecting a troop. You are encouraged to visit as many troops as possible to 'find the right fit' for your scout(s). Use the Troop Listing option in the menu to bring up a list of the troops which you can sort by several parameters.

Below the map is where any upcoming 'recruiting' events by the troops are listed. Events in the next 21 days appear here, to view a more comprehensive list use the Calendar in the menu. Not all Boy Scout events are age appropriate for Cub Scouts, so this section allows the troops to advertise those events where younger boys are welcome. Troopfinder is targeted for Cub Scouts preparing for their Arrow of Light award, but it is not exclusively for that purpose, please browse the site to help you find out about Troops in our district.
